The Legal Battle |
The battle began back in 2005. Below are images of correspondence during the battle. On January 31, 2007 Oklahoma's 7th Judicial District Court Judge Bryan Dixon ordered that "Defendant's Motion for Summary Judgment is granted. Plaintiff's Motion for Sanctions and for Default Judgment against Defendant is stricken as moot." That translates as I WON. Their legal folks then asked for a new trial — which was denied on February 21, 2007. They then took it to the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals — which affirmed the District Court's ruling on May 31, 2007. Next on their agenda was the Oklahoma Supreme Court — but after two attempts to get the Justices attention they withdrew the filing. After all of this they've decided to start it all over again. See their letter dated May 23, 2007 below. Apparently they feel that the "Big Guys" should never lose to the "little guy". My response, below that letter, says that they've picked on the wrong guy. And "the beat goes on!" |

During this time gap the legal mechanism cranked on. On January 31, 2007 the court in the above referenced case ruled in favor of the defendant. THAT'S ME!
Regardless of the court ruling — a second attack began. |
